Friends of Panthertown Work Days on the 4th Saturday of every month at 9:30 am. Locations alternate between Cold Mountain and Saltrock entrances.

Volunteers are needed to maintain trails and for other conservation and recreation-based projects. Meeting times vary depending on the season and meeting locations alternate between the Salt Rock Gap entrance and the Cold Mountain entrance, so check the calendar of events for details about upcoming work days.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend - no previous experience is necessary, but participants should be in good physical condition. Volunteers should bring a backpack, lunch, plenty of water, work gloves, rain gear, and if possible, hand tools such as folding saws, hand pruners, or loppers.
